1.
Early morning and I’m walking Through the valley one summer's day In the meantime, a little me time 'Til the blackbirds sing again, and they’re calling out my name again As the sun shines through all the gaps between the trees Come and take me please, come and take me For I have sinned lord, and I can’t win lord Without my brothers standing right here next to me
2.
Birdwatching 04:18
Sometimes I look back upon my days at school Heavy in the knowledge, what my teachers said was true Despite my best efforts, these were the happiest days I knew Life sows a bad seed and bids you look to the ground While visions and fears of rising seas abound There’s nothing like the sky to ease a restless mind Nature soars up around me and flees towards the sun I try to follow, pretending, like I was young Remembering days spent birdwatching, learning the songs they sung But now I must wait, and hope for it to be I too will live so vicariously, always hiding Living life through the lens of another I’ll turn to one of the world’s stranger creeds Remove myself from people and their needs To waste and starve ‘til I see and understand But now I must wait, and hope for it to be I too will live so vicariously, always hiding Living life through the lens of another What’s wrong with birdwatching? What’s wrong with being alone?
3.
Jonathan 03:37
I wanna be seeing the world, sailing the seas But all my dreams, have you at the end of the road with me Nine minutes apart, same hospital ward, before dark We were born and sworn to be best friends 'til the very end Oh and Jonathan, where would I be if you’d never been Giving life such a positive spin, I really don’t know Oh and Jonathan, you can never fail to make me smile We’d be fine even if we were miles, and miles apart You’re close to my heart You wanna be in the shows on T.V. And I’m still sure, that’s exactly what you’re gonna get some day But until that day we’ll stride together With different things in mind, we’ll help each other out, that’s what we do Oh and Jonathan, where would I be if you’d never been Giving life such a positive spin, I really don’t know Oh and Jonathan, you can never fail to make me smile We’d be fine even if we were miles, and miles apart You’re close to my heart
4.
Tumbleweed 05:27
Every now and then, distraction prevails The tumbleweed sails, And we wait, and we wait, and we wait for its passing 'Til it’s well out of sight And there’s no need to hide Anymore, anymore, anymore There’s no need now, to put out the fire and flames Can’t you see now, the tumbleweed plays its own game Tumbleweed, it blows right past and leaves a mess behind 'Til we all see it go by, we try to find it, but it knows where to hide Tumbleweed, you’re supposed to be off-scene But every now and then you come along, just as you please T. U. M. B. L. E. Double U. Double E. D. Tumbleweed, if you’re to pass by why not stick around? In the corner of my eye it seems you’re Always found, always found Always found, always found Always, always, always, always Always, always, always, always Tumbleweed, it blows right past and leaves a mess behind 'Til we all see it go by, we try to find it, but it knows where to hide

Cold Hands 04:51
It’s a bittersweet irony That leads us all astray And underneath, at night you pray To keep the darkness at bay Oh life deals out its deck of cards To each and every heart Wandering heart Hopeless heart Hopeful, Cold hands, warm heart Wish he’d known it from the start Cold hands, warm heart It was over from the start Cold hands, warm heart Cold hands, warm heart Oh life deals out its deck of cards To each and every heart Wandering heart Hopeless heart Hopeful, Cold hands, warm heart Wish he’d known it from the start Cold hands, warm heart It was over from the start Cold hands, warm heart Cold hands, warm heart
6.
Hummingbird 04:07
Looking back to where it all began My life was in your hands You kept me warm you kept me safe Wouldn’t have it any other way Wouldn’t have it any other way You used to dress me just like you But now I’m nearly twenty-two And you say look how fast you’ve grown Oh, how the time has flown Oh, how the time has flown You used to talk about the sky Red at night, shepherd’s delight I strain my neck to look above Oh, how beautiful it was Oh, how beautiful it was And now we laugh and talk each day You’re always there when times astray You keep me warm you keep me safe Wouldn’t have it any other way Wouldn’t have it any other way
7.
Our legs bruised and feet blackened We tumbled out onto the moonlit beach The shingle to ourselves The gently hushing waves soon stilled our speech And our love, it grew, that day We lay back in the water Our bodies as still as time seemed in the night We drift away from the city The lonely cries that fuel the yellow light And our love, it grew, that day Our time’s as precious as the summer rain that falls And jewels upon the wings of a bird that calls Into the night, There’s something to live for, There’s something to love And while under the sun The days roll slowly, this time is ours to lose And will we still be together, When the leaves they fall and the sun shrinks like a bruise? And our love, it grew, that day
8.
Misguided lover How your eyes water in the wind Close to the river So close but she'd never jump in And in the woods I see your ghost, Your silhouette Lost in the darkness you’ll find her Searching for what could have been Feel the heat of the sun Wait for night to fall It’s only just begun my misguided love Think of who we were then And what we’ve become Oh how you’ve grown my misguided love They say she wears Her heart on her sleeve too easily But would you rather Feel loved once, or be like me And I can’t say what I don’t know To be true But they say time waits for no one And I can’t make it wait for you, oh, oh Feel the heat of the sun Wait for night to fall It’s only just begun my misguided love Think of who we were then And what we’ve become Oh how you’ve grown my misguided love, love, love
9.
When the wind shakes her window And the rain, the rain falls hard When the colours in the sunlight Shrink away, leave her unscarred Speak to her as though she were An angel fell from grey, washed out skies Hold her tight until the daylight fights the night And keep her flame alight If she’s weary and aching And she can’t find the will to remain Keep her close, keep her standing Lead her forwards through pleasure and through pain Look at her as though she might At any second’s notice fade from sight Hold her tight until the daylight fights the night And keep her flame alight
10.
When I see your face The world stops spinning round I lose my place When I hear your voice The other sounds I hear just sound like noise And I lie by your side And tell you not to be afraid And I say don't fear me I won't hurt you Like he did before me Won't you give us time To spend in Lovers' Paradise When you give me a chance To show I mean no harm When I hold your hand I know just where I am just where I stand When I say your name My conquered heart is far too hard to tame And I lie by your side And tell you not to be afraid And I say don't fear me I won't hurt you Like he did before me Won't you give us time To spend in Lovers' Paradise When you give me a chance To show I mean no harm Lovers' Paradise, Lovers' Paradise Lovers' Paradise, Lovers' Paradise Won't you give us time To spend in Lovers' Paradise When you give me a chance To show I mean no harm
